The Process of Sauce

This is my first post...I need some help...

I'm moving into a condo with a friend of mine, he's lived there for several years and his sister used to live there. I'm getting her old room and bathroom. She painted a half-finished mural of a city skyline on a large wall in the bedroom and a lake with ducks on a wall in the bathroom.

It is very cute...just not my all!

I don't want to destroy her artwork (I mean, she worked really hard on that and she may want to finish them if she ever moves back). I though of putting floor to ceiling curtains all over the wall but that could get expensive....

any ideas?

Maybe look into starched fabric/removable fabric wallpaper or types of wallpaper that don't damage paint. I don't have any experience with these, so I can't vouch for whether they would not damage the mural.

yes, there are removable wallpapers. If you're too worried about damage to use them, you can always use a tapestry, which you can nail tight and flat (curtains might be too droopy or flowy).

You could always get a saucy tarp and put it up: ala medieval.

I have a friend who has done amazing things with cheap fabric and thumb tacks. It's not as hard or as daunting as it sounds.
